• 2 sobres de Levadura
• 1/3 taza de Agua tibia
• 1 ½ taza de Leche
• 1/3 taza de manteca
• ¼ taza de azúcar
• 2 cucharaditas de sal
• 2 cucharaditas de Nuez moscada
• 2 huevos ligeramente batidos
• 4 ½ tazas de Harina
• ½ taza de Mantequilla derretida
• Para la cobertura:
• 1 taza de azúcar mezclada con 1 cucharadita de Canela en polvo
34. • PREPARACIÓN:
• En un recipiente pequeño, disolver la levadura con el agua tibia. En una cacerola mediana derretir la manteca con la leche.
• Retirar del fuego y dejar enfriar. Verter la mezcla de la levadura en un recipiente grande y añadirle la mezcla de la leche.
Luego añadir la ¼ taza de Azúcar sal, nuez moscada, huevos y 2 tazas de harina.

• Batir ligeramente hasta obtener una mezcla homogénea. Añadir la harina restante y batir hasta que la mezcla esté suave.
• Cubrir el recipiente con un paño limpio, y dejar reposar por una hora, hasta que la masa doble en tamaño.
• Poner la masa sobre una superficie espolvoreada de harina y, usando las manos, darle forma a la masa de donut.
• Colocar los donuts sobre una plancha de hornear previamente engrasada, dejando un espacio entre uno y otro. Dejar las donuts reposar y crecer, sin cubrir, unos 20 min, antes de hornear.
• Calentar el horno a 200 grados
• Hornear los donuts unos 10 minutos, o un poco más, hasta que tomen un color dorado. Retirar del horno. Usando una brocha de cocina, untar cada donut con la mantequilla derretida y luego pasarlas por la mezcla de azúcar y canela. Servir calientes.
• Otra posibilidad es cubrir las donuts con un glaseado

Donuts

• 1/3 cup of lukewarm water
• 1 ½ cup of Milk
• 1/3 cup butter
• ¼ cup of sugar
• 2 teaspoons salt
• 2 teaspoons of Nutmeg
• 2 lightly beaten eggs
• 4 ½ cups Flour
• ½ cup of melted butter
• For coverage:
• 1 cup sugar mixed with 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
34. • PREPARATION:
• In a small bowl, dissolve the yeast with warm water. In a medium saucepan melt the butter with the milk.
• Remove from heat and let cool. Pour the yeast mixture into a large bowl and add the milk mixture.
Then add the ¼ cup sugar salt, nutmeg, eggs and 2 cups flour.
• Beat lightly until a homogeneous mixture is obtained. Add the remaining flour and beat until the mixture is smooth.
• Cover the container with a clean cloth, and let stand for one hour, until the dough double in size.
• Put the dough on a sprinkled surface of flour and, using the hands, shape the donut dough.
• Place the donuts on a previously greased baking sheet, leaving a space between them. Let the donuts rest and grow, without covering, about 20 min, before baking.
• Heat the oven to 200 degrees
• Bake the donuts about 10 minutes, or a little more, until they turn golden. Remove from oven. Using a kitchen brush, grease each donut with the melted butter and then pass them through the sugar and cinnamon mixture. Serve hot.
• Another possibility is to cover the donuts with a frosting
